Aggie Dmonstration

This was a 45 minute demo for a workshop at the Mall galleries  (FBA)on Monday . The time was short and I concentrated on  creating form and explaining the structure of the face . It is not a finished painting and I would have liked to complete but the idea was to get the students producing their own work.I did no pre line  drawing but worked with tonal shapes only.

                          This painting was the first  one to break the ice I used the trees to create a foreground shape to gain distance figures came and went and became hybrid of several  men and women  I hope you like it

This was a painting I produced in the studio from my references made on the Artist day. Interestingly this year I had the the first day in 20 plus years I was allowed to paint Plein air  at the actual Event more to come!
